KNPC is one of the largest leading oil companies in the gulf region with highly advanced technology currently handling major projects which require skilled engineers, urgently needs qualified personnel complying to the below conditions: 21 Electrical Construction Engineer • Academic:  Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. • Related work experience (type and years) :  8 years’ experience in an oil refinery or petrochemical industry 22. Contracts Engineer • Academic:  Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil /Electrical / Instrumentation / Manufacturing / Industrial / Chemical Engineering or Equivalent • Related work experience (type and years) :  6 Years experience in preparation and administration of contracts, handling claims/variations and related documentation in refinery or petrochemical industries. • Job summary :  Coordinates and controls activities pertaining to contracts preparation and related documentation. Reviews all contracts / agreements to ensure full conformity with specified company standards. Assists in preparation of contracts packages. Coordinates between LM department, other KNPC departments / refineries and contractors. Participates in progress review meetings. 23 . Planning Engineer • Academic:  Bachelor’s Degree Chemical Engineering or Equivalent. • Related work experience (type and years) :  8 years direct working experience in the petroleum refining industry, including exposure to petroleum economics, planning and scheduling. Understanding of HC Supply Chain Process and economic + Extensive knowledge and use of LP model (PIMS). Knowledge of Refinery Processes especially for KNPC Refineries (Integration, Limitations & Capabilities). • Job summary :  Assists and supports Senior Engineer in all activities of Short Term Planning, which include preparation of the Global Short-Term Plan through data gathering, developing the simulation scenarios, running the LP Model and preparing the reports; executes LP model simulation for evaluating the profitability and feasibility of short-term opportunities; executes back casting process and identifies variances between actual & planned performance, along with the corresponding root causes. 24. Electrical Design Engineer • Academic:  Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. • Related work experience (type and years) :  6 years diversified experience in electrical engineering including design, project engineering activities in high technology industry preferably in refineries or petrochemical plants. • Job summary :  Performs engineering work, especially of complex nature, related to electrical design, procurement and construction aspects for modification projects of revenue nature & capital projects handled by the refinery. Studies an implements corrective measures and solutions to engineering problems. Attends to special assignmenst, projects & studies.
